Redline Lab is a web-based platform designed to help ultra-endurance cyclists analyze training data and prepare for long-distance cycling events.

By using Redline Lab, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information when you use Redline Lab.

Account Information

When you create an account or access the service, we may collect email address, basic account identifiers, and authentication data required to access the service.

Activity and Training Data

If you choose to connect your Strava account, Redline Lab may access certain activity data through the Strava API with your explicit authorization. This may include ride activities, distance, duration, elevation, power, heart rate, speed metrics, timestamps, training history, and athlete profile information permitted by Strava.

Redline Lab only accesses data necessary to provide training analysis and insights.

Usage Information

We may collect limited technical information such as browser type, device type, interaction with the application, and error logs. This information is used only to improve the reliability and functionality of the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

Redline Lab uses collected data to provide and improve the service. This includes analyzing training load and fatigue trends, generating endurance performance metrics, providing coaching insights and analytics, supporting race preparation tools and simulations, and improving application performance and reliability.

Redline Lab does not sell, rent, or monetize personal data.

3. Use of Strava Data

When you connect your Strava account, Redline Lab accesses your data through the Strava API using the OAuth authorization process.

Strava data is used exclusively to analyze training activities, generate performance metrics, and provide coaching insights within Redline Lab.

Redline Lab does not redistribute, sell, or share Strava data with third parties. All use of Strava data complies with the Strava API Agreement.

4. Data Sharing

Redline Lab does not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties. We may use third-party service providers, such as hosting or infrastructure providers, that process data solely to support the operation of the platform. These providers are required to maintain appropriate security protections.

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. User Control and Strava Permissions

You control whether Redline Lab can access your Strava data. You may revoke access at any time by disconnecting Redline Lab from your Strava account through Strava settings or deleting your Redline Lab account. Once access is revoked, Redline Lab will no longer retrieve new data from Strava.

7. Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time. Upon account deletion, personal account information and stored Strava activity data associated with the account will be deleted.

8. Data Retention

We retain user data only for as long as necessary to provide the service and operate the platform. Data may be removed upon account deletion or when it is no longer required for the operation of the service.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements. Continued use of the service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
